I tutored elementary and middle school students throughout high school. I am also in my 3rd year of the education program which requires two hours of weekly tutoring experience in a classroom (I am placed at Grafton High School) and there was a 60 hour volunteer experience pre- requisite. I completed 40 of my hours tutoring in a high school and 20 hours at the Children's Discovery Museum of West Virginia. I received an 1870 on my SAT and a 29 on my ACT. I have taken the AP Biology, AP Government, AP Calculus, AP World History, AP Literature, and AP Psychology exams. I received a 4 on AP Bio, Government, and World History; a 3 on AP Literature and AP Calculus, and a 5 on AP Psychology. I am specializing in French and I am currently enrolled in Language through Culture and Advanced Readings. I have finished the 200 level Introductory classes and the first level of the 300 level classes (Language through Civilization). I am also currently enrolled in Educational Psychology and have already completed Developmental Psychology. I have worked at a summer camp for 5 to 15 year old children for the past 4 summers. I was a horseback riding instructor and after-care supervisor at this camp. I am comfortable working with children of any age.

Hobbies

I have been horseback riding for the past 13 years and my family owns three horses. When I was in high school I was competing for my school and outside of school and I also became a horseback riding instructor. I was also in Theater when I was in high school. I was on the tech crew and I also performed. I love theater both performing and watching shows! I am an avid reader and read as often as I can. I love anything and everything I can get my hands on!
