Private tutor in Morgantown, WV
Education
I am currently a graduate student at West Virginia University, pursuing my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. While doing so, I have taken a plethora of educational methods courses while also accumulating professional development hours in grades PreK-4th grade. Moreover, I completed my undergraduate work last spring (2015) with a cumulative GPA of 3.6.
Experience
As previously mentioned, I have worked first hand with children throughout the past 4 years, helping them cultivate both their knowledge and skills that will be beneficial in their future. It's safe to say that working with children is both a hobby and job that I enjoy doing considering my choice of course work. In order to get my degree, I had to take a couple of teaching method courses for all content areas. This includes, but is not limited to, mathematics, history, reading, and more. While in these courses, I learned ways to help struggling students get where they need to be depending on the type of learner and person they are.
