Education
Graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. I finished with a 3.84 cumulative GPA in 3.5 years, graduating a semester early with Summa Cum Laude honors. Additionally, I have been accepted into West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry program to pursue a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the fall of this year.
Experience
I have extensive experience in tutoring children of all ages, as I currently hold a position with WVU’s athletic department to tutor student athletes and I have done so for the past 6 months. During the last two summers, I held the position of a WVU STEM Ambassador, which was a job aimed at teaching science to children through interesting experiments to draw their interest to the STEM field. During my high school years, I took many AP courses and passed both the AP English and Composition Test and the AP Chemistry test. Additionally, I have taken the Dental Admissions Test (DAT) and received a respectable score of 19 AA and a 20 PAT, a score good enough to help me gain admission to WVU School of Dentistry. These experiences and many more have allowed me to teach people of all ages in school and it is a job I enjoy, because it is a great feeling to see someone understand a subject they previously struggled with when I help them. As a tutor, you can expect me to maintain a respectful/professional attitude and to be efficient in teaching while on the clock.
